As music producer, songwriter, recording artist and professional musician for over 20 years, Maurice Mosby has acquired unique abilities in the world of music. He has performed in countless venues all over the country, including the Whitehouse in Washington, D.C., and the world famous Apollo Theatre in New York City. He has shared the stage with artists from diverse genres such as Lecrae, Yolanda Adams and the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. Maurice has written and produced multiple music recordings and has earned recognition in the top 5 of the Billboard Gospel Charts.
When Maurice began his work in youth development in 2004, he took his talent to another level when he founded New Generation, an urban youth choir, directly mentoring over 200 members that influenced the lives of more than 5,000 teens in the Hickory Hill community in Memphis, TN. While working with the choir, Maurice discovered that his effectiveness traveled much deeper than merely strengthening their musical ability; his influence literally helped shaped their lives, allowing them to see their significance to society in a greater light. His leadership influences youth to become better leaders in their schools, homes and communities.
Currently, Maurice lives in Los Angles, CA with his wife Teria and their three sons Matthew Samuel, Maxwell David and Myles Elijah. He enjoys spending time with his family, creating music and serving the Church.
